Typically the Magnetite specimens from this locality are closely grown together, and this is a good example of said material. The piece has excellent quality, large, razor sharp, lustrous, black, "Alpine-type" octahedra on specimen. The largest Magnetite crystal measures 2.2 cm. across, which is nearly as large as they get from this locality. This piece is one of the finer small cabinet size specimens from the find and will display very nicely. It is actually very aesthetic as there is some "three dimensionality" to the piece and it is not just a "flat" plate on matrix. The main crystal in the center does have a tiny nick on it. 7.0 x 4.5 x 3.2cm
