A DRAMATIC, old-time Himalaya Mine specimen of gemmy and lustrous, pink and green tourmalines with matte-black terminations attractively set in a glassy, translucent, DOUBLY TERMINATED smoky quartz crystal! A couple of snow-white cleavelandite blades are a nice accent. The large tourmaline is 4.5 cm. This is a fine old-timer from the Ralph Potter era of the 1950s or 60s predating modern exploration here. Very beautiful piece illustrating the complexity of how these occur in nature. Ex.
