Absolutely outstanding thumbnail example of this cobalt mineral from the classic location in Sweden. This crystal is a modified dodecahedron, with very clean form and sharp edges. There simply could not be a finer example of the crystal form for cobaltite. Nice old thumbnail mount accompanies the piece. Old Swedish label, indicating Hauck bought the piece in July 1982, comes with piece. It was provided to him by noted collector Stig Adolfsson. Prior to his ownership it was in a museum collection and the antique wax-pedestal mount is preserved with the piece. A MAJOR THUMBNAIL AND MAJOR EXAMPLE OF THE SPECIES!
