Excellent zoning and unusual color highlight this very attractive cluster of fluorite cubes. It is actually a floater, complete even in back and bottom! The colors range from a soft, maize-yellow core to a sharp, deep purple-blue zone to an outer zone of clear sky blue. The Fluorite is clear enough that the light is transmitted easily, showing the coloration beautifully, without need of intense backlighting (adding value to the specimen in my eyes). The luster is good, so it sparkles in light, and the largest crystal reaches nearly 3.4 cm. This very aesthetic specimen was mined from the Adams/Clanton Drift in 1992. RCL 554.
