From new finds here, in a remote part of Iran in late 2013, this is a SHARP and vividly deep green 2.4-cm-long crystal perched smartly on a well trimmed miniature matrix. It is a very good piece for the locality, and for a matrix demantoid in any case. Few came out of size, on matrix, from these apparently artisanal small pockets. These premiered at the Tucson show of 2014.
