Look closely and you will see that this is an extraordinary crystal of quartz, even for a place that turns it out by the ton. One side face of the larger crystal was damaged naturally in the pocket. Then, it healed, with a new crystal growing right at the place of damage. The larger crystal has glassy clarity: it is optical quality, like water. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
