From the direct source, an owner of the mining claims, a superb, gorgeous green, Demantoid Garnet crystal from Madagascar. This piece features a large, glassy, transparent to translucent, rich dark olive green Demantoid crystal with distinct and complex crystal faces with a smaller, 1cm crystal offset to one side. The color, luster, and internal "fire" of this piece certainly qualifies it as an excellent example of Demantoid, and it is a HUGE and significant crystal! In fact, this is a boxbuster thumbnail or, since it really is such a commanding size, a toenail in Tucson competition sizes. Ex. Federico Pezzotta personal collection with label.
