A SUPERB and AESTHETIC cluster of highly lustrous dark blue azurite crystals with ELECTRIC-BLUE highlights from Touissit. The crystals are partially pseudomorphing to malachite. Notoriously difficult to photograph, this azurite is MUCH BETTER In PERSON. It has briliant, top-tier luster and is a KILLER display miniature that is my "spiker" for this auction, by far and away in my opinion the best rock here. Old dealer stock of Dr. Gary Hansen and not shown since the early 1980s! The Hansen label has a $800 price on it, so you know he valued it highly even 20 years ago! This is a choice miniature for the species, AND for the locality. 4.2 x 2.2 x 2.0 cm
