A select and showy specimen of crystalline spheres of lustrous, green Wavellite from the famous Mt. Mauldin quarries of Arkansas. The individuality of the Wavellites is excellent, allowing a true appreciation of their quality. They average about 5 mm in size, and they are spread out generously on the gneissic matrix. You can even see the well-known radial pattern in the few places where the internal structure of the crystals is exposed. Classic material.
