Scattered about on a matrix of rich pink-colored rose quartz are crystal clusters, to 8 mm across, of lustrous and translucent light brown eosphorite (a manganese aluminum phosphate). The spear-like crystals of rose quartz reach 2.5 cm in length. A very nice specimen of two distinct species that are often found together. This is old material from the 1960s or 1970s! I get them occasionally in old collections, only.
