CLASSIC find from the early 1900s or late 1800s at Bisbee! The thin layer of Limonite matrix is covered by a continuous layer of vivid, electric-violet Azurite. Both the luster and glow of the crystals are excellent, and these, in turn, are largely covered by rich, deep green Malachite. Populating the surface are hundreds of mm-size Cuprite octahedrons that have been pseudomorphed into light-green Malachite. This small cab is distinctive, aesthetic, and quite unusual. MUCH better in person, even. To me, it is exceptional. It's not often that you find something where the closer you look at it, the better it gets, but this fine Bisbee specimen is one of them.
