These stunning Altai Mountain fluorites are just NOT AVAILABLE anymore. Last year, three specimens turned up as a total fluke from a contact who had them stashed away. They were found some years back in this mountainous area near Mongolia which hasn't yet produced much compared to other parts of China. Not only are these difficult to obtain, but this is a LARGE, IMPORTANT specimen from the find! This fabulous, large specimen features deep purple, extremely modified cubes with tiered hexagonal and cubic sub-terminations and weirdly architectural forms. It is the largest of the three specimen we had, and really a very important fluorite specimen when it comes down to it. 27.0 x 14 x 6.9 cm
