An old-time and showy specimen of translucent, purple, lightly frosted fluorite cubes on matrix covered with splendent, black galena crystals from the less well-known Rodderup Fell Mine at Alston Moor, England. The mine closed in 1948 and is one of the few mines in the area, that produced fine fluorite specimens. Moderate purple and yellow fluorescence. Ex. George Elling Collection.
