Tsavorite is the very rare, green, chromium or vanadian variety of grossular garnet, found in few places worldwide, all in Africa. This very fine, large crystal has stunning electric light green color, fabulous clarity and superb luster. The front is complexly crystallized and an interesting, small diopside crystal is hidden on the back (second photo). Weighs 17.39 carats.
