Zacatecas azurites have always been quite rare on the market and highly sought-after. The reason is not just scarcity, but also an appearance that is not shared by any other azurites specimens: the crystals, even when small like these, have a glassy intensity and saturated deep blue color (not blackish) that is unlike any other manifestations of this species. It is hard for the camera to capture, but these little crystals have this quality.
