Exceptionally bright and iridescent pyrite adorns and almost entirely covers an underlying cluster of yellow fluorite from Vilabona, Spain. The vivid, polychrome, shimmering pyrite displays a rainbow of iridescence ranging from bluish to reddish purple to brassy yellow and densely covers the fluorite with less than 1 mm crystals. A rare and striking piece from this Spanish locality. BETTER IN PERSON! Very hard to convey in photos...
