A SUPER combination piece from a CLASSIC and closed locality, the Taewha Mine of South Korea. Very sharp, gray scheelite octahedrons are on massive scheelite matrix along side of a glassy, 6.8 cm, gray quartz crystal. Lustrous, off-white, fishtail-twinned calcite crystals are richly scattered about. The large, capping fishtail is 4.3 cm. Taewha scheelites were long considered to be among the worlds finest, until the recent Chinese finds. very FINE, old-time and choice material from the Ed Swoboda Collection.
