This is a huge and incredibly aesthetic Prehnite from the Prospect Quarry in New New South Wales, Australia! It is a very aesthetic and very large, bladed Prehnite aggregate that is larger than a baseball! The translucent, pale green Prehnite ball measures 9.1 cm across at its widest and is composed of divergent, crossing to 4 cm wide. The piece just glows with any light directed on it because of its translucency. It is in excellent condition contacting on one side and then the bottom of the piece. This has to be be of the most impressive Prehnite balls we've seen from anywhere! Rock Currier noted in his catalog, "Demitrius Pohl gave me this specimen on my 40th birthday." It is an important specimen in size and impact, for the locality as well.
