Cerussite
Somewhat resembling Flux mine cerussite from Arizona, but heavier by far, this solid mass of un-twinned cerussite crystals to 2 cm in length, is lustrous with a pearlescent hue. A large, rare, showy locality specimen of cerussite, which is quite rare from England and Cornwall in particular (odd, despite it being rich in lead?!). Ex. Nick Carruth collection. Carruth sold his Cornish collection in entirety to Simon Lawrence a few years ago, and while Nick believed that Devon minerals should count in a Cornish collection (by way of geology), the current owner believes he has to stop collecting at the Devonshire border and so let the Devon suite go out for resale. A location rarity!
