A 2.0 cm, sharp, lustrous, very dark red almandine garnet with flashes of gemmy, red fire is very aesthetically perched atop rhyolite matrix on this exceptional specimen from a very uncommon Nevada locale - Garnet Hill, White Pine County. Older material from the 1960s or 1970s from the Mullane Collection.
