Historic, manufactured specimen from 18th-century Switzerland. It combines the famous Chlorite-coated Adularia crystals from St. Gotthard with a classic Rutile crystal, such as those from Feldbach. The largest Adularia is about 5 cm, and their intergrown nature is quite interesting. The Rutile is just shy of 3 cm, and it has excellent luster and good color. An old-timer that is an interesting talking piece, and not at all unattractive in any case! See accompanying handwritten letter from dealer Scott Williams, from 1995.
