The pocket these were found in, approximately 2012, was small and tight. Few matrix specimens were recovered. This one piece, probably represents ten percent of the entire pocket. This is a large intergrown cluster of tabular, lustrous and translucent, rich blue alkali-rich beryl crystals, to 2.5 cm across. The piece is robust, dramatic, and colorful. It preserves some interesting contrasts with matrix, although is nearly a floater made up primarily of the beryl itself. A significant specimen from this rare find. These were originally thought to be Rosterite or Vorobyevite, but further analysis by Dr. Federico Pezzotta confirmed they are alkali-rich beryls.
