Prehnite from Afghanistan is relatively a new find. A huge plate of pretty sea-foam green "fingers" of prehnite, from Pakistan. Prehnite covers the slab of matrix both front and back, demonstrating that it was a ridge sticking into the pocket which allowed it to be covered on both sides with a thick crust of prehnite, very well crystallized on the display face. Some of these "fingers" are up to 3.5 cm in length! A rich, showy and very impressive prehnite! This is a huge plate, and despite the size is nearly pristine and in good shape overall. Chaman is near Quetta city in Balauchistan province of Pakistan.Chaman is on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan in Balauchistan Province. 25.7 x 22.2 x 7.5cm
