An old classic, for this rare species: An outstanding set of a half-dozen lustrous Perovskite crystals is perched on a matrix of green Clinochlore. The luster on the Perovskite is excellent, with the largest crystal being 1.4 cm. The surfaces of the crystals are actually quite complex, and are the result of twinning and multiple, intergrown habits. Clinochlore is a green member of the Chlorite group, with these books reaching up to 1.1 cm across (Of course, the luster where the crystals are cleaved is pearly and superb, itself a pretty thing). The perovskites are well isolated and sharply formed. Really, a top-notch specimen for the individual species and the combination.
