The beautiful balance of fluorite and crystallized sphalerite here looks a lot more like Elmwood than Illinois, but the razor-sharp, silky faces of the crystals say "Illinois." This is an unusual-looking specimen for this locality, and just beautiful. The crystals measure to 2 cm on edge. These pretty crystals even have phantoms inside.
