Quartz on Malachite Ps. Calcite
Enchanting and unique thumbnail with great form and mineralogical interest, both. The original Calcite rhomb was replaced by Malachite, and that rhomb was subsequestly coated by Quartz, as if in a winter ice storm. The aesthetics of this 1.2 cm rhomb are terrific! Old collection material.
