A vibrant pink cluster of sizable Rose Quartz crystals are attractively situated on an elongate shard of Rose Quartz from the well known Sapucaia Mine in Brazil. It is more robust in shape, size, and color than most rose quartz specimens. A wealth of Rose Quartz crystals compose the cluster and they are mounded one upon the other for dramatic effect, which also accentuates the color. The crystals are gemmy at the exterior and at the tips, and more translucent near their centers where more of the vibrant, pastel pink color is concentrated for fabulous aesthetics. The group of crystals is nicely composed on an etched shard of Rose Quartz for the entire length of the base of the piece and beyond the cluster. This has a more delicate pink color and also has features indicating etching and secondary growth. A very attractive and texturally diverse piece that results in its unique aesthetic appearance and impact in a showcase. Rock Currier notes he bought the specimen in 1987, and it was already probably from an older find yet. Also, this is complete all around.
