A lovely plate of the famous mandarin-orange Spessartines from Marienfluss. The garnets have excellent luster, partial gemminess, and range up to about .4 cm in size. A fine example of the locality. AND one of the largest we have seen in this collection or elsewhere. A few minor dings but mostly pristine. 1980s material. Ex. Charlie Key stock.
