A classic and pristine Cavradi hematite specimen of splendent, parallel-growth hematite blades on a tiny bit of starkly contrasting matrix. The hematite blades have interesting, stepped-growth faces and both sides of the piece have embedded gemmy, wine-red rutile crystals. There is even a tiny quartz crystal implanted along the crest. The very high luster, excellent form and rutile association make for an excellent specimen. Ex. Gene Meieran Collection.
