A very SHOWY vug in CABINET basalt matrix lined with lustrous analcime crystals, many included with iron oxides and nicely accented by two, glassy, tabular apophyllite crystals from a famous Italian locality - Lafreider Holle, Seis Alp, South Tyrol. Classic and fine material from the Rolf Wein Collection, a noted Alpine collector. He purchased this piece in 1987.
