A single, perfect cuprite crystal on quartz perched directly in the center of the specimen. There is also a small cuprite crystal present at the base of the main crystal. The Onganja mine is known around the world for its brilliant blood red cuprites. An aesthetic and stunning thumbnail from the well-known Namibian mineral collection of Shields and Frances Flynn, who self-published the book, Minerals of Namibia - From the Collection of Shields and Frances Flynn in 2018.
