A textbook, hexagonal, tabular, doubly-terminated ruby crystal from Mysore, India. The crystal has superb, saturated, pigeon's blood-red color. One end is crudely terminated and the other end looks sawed, but in fact, is terminated. This face really highlights the intense color saturation. Highly representative of the species and locality. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
