This fine specimen is stalactitic, but shows what I call a "sand-drip" form familiar to anyone who made sand drip castles as a kid; you can see botryoidal forms in addition to these conical ones. The overall specimen has pretty "cupped" structure to it, with a rising back, and is solid malachite.
