The simplicity and elegance of this single wire drew my attention when I first saw it in the mid 1990s, and I have long thought it one of the most exquisite examples of the robust Himmelsfurst silver wires. This piece I bought and sold in the 90s, and now have it back by exchange with the collector who owns it. It is elegant, but not "bendy" and fragile as many smaller pieces are. For the size range, I still regard it highly amongst its peers as a special piece. The specimen is illustrated in the Mineralogical Record's book, Texas Collectors, in the Sandra Gee collection.
