A rare, aesthetic quartz crystal ("Maui Diamond") from the Richard Hauck Quartz Collection and an uncommon Maui, Hawaii locale - the Olowalu Valley. This pristine, transparent, flattened, doubly terminated quartz crystal is beautiful from either side. Both sides are beautifully striated and each side has unique stepped-growth faces. The single and multiple terminations are fascinating. From old finds in the early 1980s.
