A gemmy, OLD-TIME and CLASSIC, dark green (so dark it looks black) tourmaline from Gouverneur, New York. This is a very RARE green varietal with a nice pyramidal termination. This fine tourmaline easily dates to the 1800s. The side ding is out of site on the back. The UNRETOUCHED backlit photo highlights the gemminess and green color saturation. Comes with an old handwritten label in French. Ex. Tim Sherburn Collection.
