This is an attractive specimen of a rare, hydrous, calcium silicate found just once in this quality in the late 1990s. Charlie Key ended up with most of it, and sold it to the Royal Ontario Museum with whom I exchanged this specimen. This is a very pretty display piece with a translucent, intergrown, pastel lilac crystalline crust. It is actually translucent and prettier in person!
