The good supply of copper minerals from the Congo should not blind you to the value of spectacular specimens such as this - the camera could not pick up the unbelievable, almost wet-looking sparkle of this big specimen. It has wonderful 3-dimensionality from the rolling hillocks of crystals, and an accent of robins-egg blue from the chrysocolla that underlies the malachite.
