This specimen is so much better in person - the calcite just glows with gemminess, and has a very slight golden tone. It is just a fabulous calcite twin in pristine condition. It measures 4.4 cm. with a very distinct twinning plane running down the center. The crystal sits on a bed of small, sparkly quartz crystals.
