An excellent 3-piece set of different colored, classic sapphires from the gem deposits of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. All three crystals are gemmy and lustrous and have textbook hexagonal form, tapered shape and pronounced stepped-growth faces. The rare, desirable, gorgeous pink crystal has vivid color and is contacted at the base, but has no damage, per se. The blue crystal is doubly terminated, has classic, baby-blue color and is pristine. The large crystal is doubly terminated, has only minute termination wear on one end and is variably colorless, with hints of yellow. A striking and desirable trio. These are classic Ratnapura crystals. Very representative of the species and locality. Weighs 25.48 carats total weight or just over 5 grams.
