A CLASSIC, OLD-TIME stibnite crystal from the famous and long-closed Ichinokawa Mine of Japan. Primary production of these highly lustrous, silver-gray crystals was from 1875-1900. One end is terminated and there are a few rough edges and contacts, but this remains a highly representative specimen of the species and famous locality. Considered the world's finest until Romanian and Chinese material came to market. Ex. John Ydren Collection.
