This is a superb specimen of intergrown Muscovite books, with fabulous metallic luster and a terrific reddish-copper color. But the best part of all is the superlative crystal form, with all the individual books having a sharp well-defined hexagonal shape. This specimen is way above what you commonly find for any of the mica group! As with some other "common" minerals in this collection, it is a rare example that would fit in with fancier species, no questions asked!
