We know of only one small pocket of this startling combination, of a deep vivid blue carpet of tiny azurite crystals coating sharp cubic fluorites, from the complex mineral deposits in Qinglong of Guizhou Province. This came out in late 2020, and we were happy to get what might be the finest miniature (or one of) from the pocket, which was quickly dispersed within China. The color is breathtaking, very bright and blue, not dark at all. The largest crystal edge is to 2.7 cm. It is a visual stumper, looking at this the first time and trying to make sense of the color/geometry combination - a truly unusual association from anywhere, as well.
