A deep red, intensely gemmy spessartine garnet, measuring 1.5 cm, sits right next to a snowy white crystal of orthoclase, surrounded by silvery, bladed muscovite. The lower part of the spessartine has a natural contact where it grew against matrix or another crystal, but it is complete.
