Aesthetically crowning the top of a massive sapphire matrix are several lustrous and translucent, rose red to cherry red crystals of ruby. A larger, very sharp ruby crystal to 1.25 cm in length dominates the middle. Impressive overall for the richness and the color, with a prominently displayed dominant crystal as well! The sharp habit and intense color of these crystals is unlike ruby from other localities, and immediately recognizable as something "new."
