Baryte (Floater)
A sharp doubly-terminated Baryte crystal exhibiting superb preservation for something so large and fragile! It is undoubtedly from the late 1800's mining in this famous district, and yet has survived unscathed and pristine. It is basically a floater - with just a TINY bit of attachment matrix preserved about the midsection of the backside (bottom photo, with minor dolomite as well) but at no other point. A very special piece!
