A rare and strange pseudomorph specimen from the much less well-known Pack Rat Mine of San Diego County. Pearlescent muscovite blades have totally pseudomorphed a large tourmaline crystal. The pseudomorph is nicely attached to a shard of complimentary albite. It is a highly representative specimen of a rare pseudomorph. Older material from the Chuck Houser Collection.
