A dramatic specimen richly covered with highly lustrous, cherry-red crocoite prisms to 2.8 cm with orange-fire highlights from the famous Dundas District of Tasmania. The beautiful crystals are strikingly set in the sturdy matrix jackstraw-style. Classic, highly desirable material from major finds of the 1970s, acquired in Australia at that time. Ex.
