The star of this Tsumeb dioptase is a 1.8 cm crystal that has this very unusual and pretty multiply terminated, stepped form. These emerald green crystals are surrounded by black heterogenite, so the specimen has an unusual appearance compared to the average Tsumeb diop. Tsumeb dioptases are ALWAYS desirable and have always been among the crystal specimens most highly prized by collectors.
