The quartzes from Brandberg look like no others from anywhere else, as exemplified by this fine specimen. What is unique about them is how the colors - in this case, both smoky and purple - are intense, isolated blushes within the water-clear quartz. They follow the rough outline of an internal phantom in this crystal. Ex. Charlie Key Collection.
